My jack russell went missing this morning. We hunted the streets but could not find him. After half an hour we started looking around the back yard at his digging areas. Finally I found movement under the garage, JUST. He had tunneled under the concrete but some had caved in. He was wedged on his side with little breathing space, in the photo below you cant even see him. we could feel his foot if my 15 year old laid flat and reached in. I had to get my son to dig out some of the sand and we did end up rescuing him. he was pretty sore but I think he would not had got through another 30 minutes. Right now he is sleeping it off and we are about to board the back of the garage up. I think this is a really stupid pet trick:-)Jasper has just used up another life I think.

He was trapped to the right and back here (these were snapped by hubby with the little point and shoot 1 megapixel)

"Me and my son during the rescue

He is pretty worn out. Jack russells can be a real pain:-)

Glad you got him out alright. I've read loads of storys about jack russells having to be dug out of holes. He may well try going back to finish what he started when he's had a rest. :-)

I like the series too because it tells the story. I mean even if you hadn't had the eloquent story along side the pictures, I would know what was going on! Nice job!

I too am glad the little dingo is ok. I have a toy fox terrier and gets a bit determined to do goofy things too. Give jasper a kiss from us!
