Sage never ceases to amaze me.. she is like having two hired hands to help.

I am amazed each day how she works, and her loyalty is a true blessing, I have owned a few border collies but none are as special as here.

If you look closely in this pic she is right behind the horses rear legs and watching for the kick (we were loading this colt in the trailer) and it was balking so she went to work helping us load him up.. we stoped to get this pic.. She is amazing..

wow...i love this one...well...i love pretty much all the shots you've posted..

did you do anything with the lighting? or just the lighting available?

i love the backlighting....and that eye is just gorgeous...

beautiful job dale!

Hard to believe you didn't set this up specifically for this lighting situation. A wonderful picture. Love the intensity of expression.

Thanks to you both.. The lighting here this time of year is excellant in early mornning.. (Just finished another 100 or so ) taken at about 7 am when the sun is comming up.. sages nose is pointing south east the light comming through is all natural..Thanks again

ahh..that's it..using the good light in the morning

and this isn't outside? or is the "blotchiness" of the light from the horse blocking most of it?
