Well ozono,,,i don`t know if that was a dig or not....but i usually don`t go for straight horizons unless you are doing sunsets or the horizon is the main object......some people think you should though regardless...personally i think it adds to the the photo in most cases,,my rule of thumb,,,,if the horizon is 1/2 or better of the shot,and there is no foreground to attract the eye,,,make it straight......

Of course i`ll probably get a few people here that will say no....

Excellent picture of your dog. You've managed to capture a wonderful expression. I love how sharp focus the dog is and that the background is blurred. I think sometimes a non-straight horizon does add to the picture .... in this case I think it distracts though. I don't consider the horizon an important element in this picture, but because is isn't straight I find my eyes being pulled away from the dog (center of attention) to the hozizon where there is nothing to see. Just my 2 cents though :-)
