Hi Julie,
I think i like the sepia toned images better than the color. Don't particularly know why; though it could be due the historical aspect of the shots. I miss being able to go to these kinds of events, but alergies really don't allow me.

Hi Julie,

I loved your horse pics, especially the last one. The horses are beautiful, they look different from the ones we have here in the states, but then what do I know.

:shock:gorgeous horses!! I like the sepia ones better too. the second one even seems a bit outta focus or just motion blurred.

I like the last one for the story...you can feel that the horse is antsy...come on, lady...let's get going. (foot stomp)

I like the first one for the symmetry.

I can still smell the Show Sheen mingled with horse sweat and leather from the show days!!!!!

thanks, I used sepia for that old time look, and yes the second is slightly out of focus but I like all the tack the horse has on which is why I tried to take the photo on the move. I love the little ponies with carts. I used to ride as a child and miss that now, I love the smell of these horsey events:-)sounds silly but only someone who loves being around horses would understand.

I completely agree with you about the smell thing. Nothing better than burrowing my nose in a neck and inhaling. Yumm. The first picture is my favorite. Looks like the sun was a bit bright that day. The black horse in sepia is a terriffic effect. Never thought of doing that before but definately will do so now. Nice pics.
