This is our horse Jesse giving my wife kisses. He also gives back rubs with his muzzle, but only if you scratch his back (withers) too.

Hi Jeff,

I think it's definitely worth seeing twice! That horse has a such akind face.

It would be nice to see a croptoo (photo crop, definitely not horsy crop), with just the head of your wife & the horse.

Hi Canna,

Thanks for the suggestion . . . I'm giving it a try. Here's the result.

Hi Jeff,

It's good to get in a bit closer.

Just an idea - would you mind if I had a quick go at trying to simplify the background?

Hi Canna,

I give up . . . How did you do that? Did you clone the trees? Please let me know.

Thanks,

-jeffm

Hi jeffm,

- I cloned the trees - also brightening some of the the foliage behind Jesse's head.

- I also cloned the shrubbery on the right - very very badly, into puffy green clouds!

- Icloned the mountainslightly at thebottom, to makethe horizon look straighter (easier in this instance than rotating the pic.)

- I cloned the sand to get rid of some of the shadows on the ground under Jesse's muzzle.

- I also selected and brightened her forehead area - though couldn't include the far ear as it was too dark for me to see the edge of it.

- Finally,I added an extra shadowto the left of the pic, and tried togive your wife sunglasses - not very successfully!!

Thanks for letting me tinker with it.

Abw, Canna.

Hi Canna,

Thanks for the lesson in Photoshop and the concepts on how to improve a photo.

All my best,

Jeff
