they one Caz had had a little hollow plastic ball in it. She kills the plastic, of course. She mainly likes to throw the pieces at the dog, though

Well, it is a hollow ball that jingles. Maybe I can remove hollow ball first then give him the toy. Maybe that will work.

Also, empty toilet paper rolls (the paper tubes) make great parrot toys. Mine loves to shread them.

Thanks,
Steven

her very favorite toy was a set of plastic keys from the baby aisle. Those got icky after about 6 months of use and I have yet to find a new suitable replacement. The problem is that some of the ones they sell are huge (apparently for gigantic babies) and Caz doesn't like really large toys:roll: So it's an ongoing quest

Hi Meiko,

Nice looking grey there. Very good background.

Over the weekend, I took Gospel to the vet for his semi-annual well-birdie checkup. All the tests came back good. Still, the vet says he needs to eat more dark greens and chicken bones. Gospel loves chicken leg bones. He gets all the marrow out.

Thanks for posting!

Thanks,

Meiko came to us about 5yrs ago, completly plucked and very unhappy.

I am glad to say he is a different bird now... these pics were on one of his walks with us outside, he also has a 12foot round cage that he gets to spend time outside in the summer, when we are busy working outside.

He also loves chicken bones, and pizza crust!!:-)
