Thanks Bev! Wow! You have sme nice photography on your site! Did you take all those? I really like that one of the robin feeding off your hand. How long did it take before that bird trusted you enough.
I feed a flock of birds everyday plus some squirrels.

Thanks for your nice comments, yes i did take all those over a period of time. My little mate the Robin took about 3 weeks of very patient, time consuming hours of getting him to feed nearer and nearer until one day he flew onto my hand, and now there's no looking back! i cant get the food out quick enough before he is fluttering in my face! What a lovely picture of your squirrel, we have allsorts of birds but the squirrels have'nt been brave enough to venture in our gardens, but i really would love it if they did, such comical characters but i think the dogs dont help! Best regards. Bev. www.k9imageworld.comwww.bevbarkerphotos.com

Jack .. thats a great conure pic . I had a peach front conure .

I gave him a roll of toilet paper in his cage do you have any idea what he did ? It became a she . My peach front conure maticuliously ripped the cardboard out of the toilet paper reel center and the it just fell into a nesting habitat. She laid an egg monthly ..

I had so many clear eggs in which I saved < HOWEVER took away the toilet roll and the egg because she satt,, satt and stayed mentally thinking it was gonna become a newbie .

This bird sang .. and OMG when I had the pots and pans going in the kitchen she would literally walk a hallway .. 20 feet to the kitchen for a munchie .

I had too clip the wings often I gor good at that just a shear simple cut .

Chicken bones were her favor in her hands ..and black grapes with seeds .

AWW thanks for the memories .. K

I had a parrot and she used to imitate the toilet flushing and me farting.

She was such a trip.

The first time I heard her speak I just about had a heart attack.

Her name was Gabirel, and I called her Gabey.

Yeah parrots can be a riot. Polly sets on my shoulders all day while I'm on the computer. She is VERY attached to me and I her.

terry; She knows a few words, such as Hello, What's up, wants some (whenever I eat in front of her) and makes the exact kissing I make while kissing my chin.

Krystals; A couple years ago, she went NUTS whenever I would rub her hinny area. Found out later from the Vet that it is sexual to parrots and why she was laying eggs!!! Since I stopped that, she hasn't laid an egg since then.
