Trouble is, my wife thinks every puppy is a keeper. She had a very hard time parting with the litter of 5 we had last November. She insists this one is "very" special because of the unusual brown coloring along with the black & white of the parents.

The latest shot at 24 days of age. He's trying hard to stand up.

There's an ongoing family debate about that. We already have the two adult Chins plus a black lab (and a cat). I'm inclined to sell him because the Chins, in particular, need a lot of individual human attention/contact. A third one means sharing, and they already show signs of jealosy toward the puppy -- who my wife and son can't keep their hands off of.

However, my "logic" appears to be in the minority at this point.

It was a sad day, today, as we sold the puppy. We had gone back and forth about it, but finally realized that our 2 adults were being short-changed in terms of our attention. Fortunately, we found a nice family for the puppy. Nevertheless, it was a difficult time.
