Visiting an old French castle this summer, I noticed these doors. One older than the other, both giving entrance to another interesting room.
Any comments? Maarten |

How about the castle itself?? I remember having spent more than a year of my early childhood in a rented room of a Chateau in Tolouse, with my family

Aha!!!! Toulouse, beautifull city. Well in fact this castle was not that far from Toulouse. About 100 km noth of it in the lovely village of Bruniquel. I don't have that many pictures of the castle as a whole as I was more focussed on the lovely details. But I found one.

At the time we were there they were rehearsing for an opera to be held that evening in the courtyard. The diva herself was filling the rooms -and beyond- with her voice. It gave the place something extra.

Meanwhilerelying on your tolerance, I touched a little on your door composition whose invitation I could resist no more! (See the seven differences?:-))

In that case I bet you didn't have your honeymoon in chateau Olivie ! :-D:-D Perhaps no TV there at the time, but most certainly electricity. Nice place though.
About the rehearsel: it was mostlyl about loosening the voice, so many high pitched lalalalalalalaaaaaaa's. A messi n the dressing rooms and a stock of mineral water enough to drench a cavelry. Luckely I wasn't there that evening as thundering lightning and heavy rains tormented the region. Maarten |
