I actually like the Digic II jpeg. it's a bit more saturated. I really like that you added the last, non-red balcony. Very nicely composed!

Technically I don't see any difference at this resolution but artistically I like the Digic II jpeg because of the extra saturation. Very intense.

The 1st one is like painted in PS with someone who can't control the level of being natural.
My preference is the 2nd, as having an acceptable saturation. emre |

I like the second one. The first one is too saturated and looks a little too soft. I also like the B&W becaues the shadows are more dramatic.

I agree with those who chose the 2nd one, the first is just way to saturated and doesn't appear as crisp and the RAW image.

As there are only two main colours in the shot, I think that a strong red
should balance the white for picture appeal, the weak red in the second shot allows more of the scene to show through the balcony partition but I dont think it adds to picture appeal. The black and white shots however I think benifit from the detail showing through........:| |

I like the first because to my eye it has an Art Deco quality with it's strong horizontal structure and bold color.
