Americana, revisited

passed by an old barn today that i'd actually shot a couple of years ago as well, so i figured i'd stop and have another whack at it. this time, there was only one old truck parked alongside, and the grassy area was more overgrown with buttercups, but otherwise it looked about the same... 5D2, 24-105 @ 35mm, 1/160 @ f/14...

Rocky,

Great image. It's all there. The poles, the wreck, the logs, the buttercups; all the characteristics of the barn. And the overcast sky - great. Really haven't understood the obsession with direct sunlight. There can be enough contrast allthesame

And you got the verticals precise and no unnatural distorsion or perspective

Have you done micro adjustment to the 24-105

By the look of the grass - suppose cows or perhaps sheep feed now and then

thanks, Torgny!

no, i haven't done the MF adjustment on the 24-105... so far, i have no indication that it needs it...
