On a business trip the past 2 days. Had some time to drive around and spotted this nice high school building - a couple of blocks from the state capitol building.

I really like the first one, but the converging verticals bother me a little. I think it would be much better with a slight perspective adjustment. Also, there appears to be a plaque on the right side of the stairs. I'm curious as to what it says. If it is a marker of some kind, a close-up of that would have been a welcome addition. Curiosity, you know.
I really like the control of the process here. As usual, you got the exposure perfectly. |

Eminent pictures, Walter. Like them all. Number two has extra strengths. Very skilfully exposed

Very nice pics. I like #2's building curve and columns. The reflections of the sunset clouds are nice, too.
I passed by my son's old high school building last weekend and noticed how deserted it was during summer break. Almost like one of those abandoned buildings that I so enjoy taking pictures of. |
