Took this yesterday with the Big Stopper. It's been a while since I last used the filter. I NEED to use it more often

Wow..beautiful. Never heard of the Big Stopper filters until your post. I'll be looking into it for sure.
What time of day was this? With the 60 second exposure, I am at a loss to guess! Nice work. Jehan p.s. I've noticed signs by the major bridges in NYC (i.e. VN, GW, Brklyn, etc) that it photography of the bridges is not permitted. Are you far away enough to be in compliance? |

Thanks Jehan! I took this at 5:19pm. Everyone on or near the Brooklyn Bridge are taking some sort of photography
![]() The Big Stopper is Lee Filter's 10 stop ND filter. You'll need a foundation kit, filter holder, and the correct size adaptor ring from Lee's in order to use this filter. B&W has a screw on type 10 stop ND. I believed it's called 3.0 #110 ND filter. It comes is all sizes and it's cheaper than the Big Stopper. Here's a photo of the Big Stopper. It's a very DARK ND! ![]() Last edited by cmoy; Jan 5, 2014 at 2:03 PM. |

Beautiful photo. Do you use a weight on your tripod for such a long exposure?
