Great pictures, i used to have the 17-85 and since sold it and bought the Sigma 17-70, i really liked the 17-85 as well it got bad reviews but it is a great lens, were these shots right out of the camera or did you PP them, i am really thinking of buying another one as well, although i also like the Sigma as well, but great job

Im with the crowd on this one. Awesome shots, great subjects and nice use of long exposures. I would leave #5 as a landscape or close in on the abutment even tighter, but then youre cutting out that nicely lit building on the right. If I had to nit pick Id align the horizon a bit in some of these but thats a very small thing easily done. Id love to see more!

Thank you very much the nice comments!
Just got the 30d only 10 days or so and I'm still learning! Hercules! I think many people very critical on the 17-85, but I think it's a pleasure to use. Had a Pana Fz10, that I still like and I wanted IS, which is very usefull on many times! On the other hand no PP just resize for the web. DRGSin 1st one is works better for me, too, but I like to try out things... Musket! Thanks for your effort, strange but cool! Regards, Bali Ps: 2nd part is comin'... |
