Its nice to see that all the buildings that make up a City are'nt all
going to be made up of angular boxes......... Here's one from 'Belfast city centre' that's quite happy standing among its angular cousins. 1. ![]() Thanks for viewing advance ![]() |

Come on Musket ! you don'ot tell us the style..... dare i say it has hints of gothic style with the stepped roof facings 9what ever they are called), towers and red brick. (bit like St pancras station and below)? Where's the Architecture advior
a very good shot and a change to the sky line Holstentor in Lübeck ![]() |

musket,
Great picture. The building stands out very well, surpassing the surrounding buildings (hope it´s correct english) What lens and focal length? Did you do any lense correction? Torgny |

There was a little bit of vigineting on the pic that I cropped out the kit lens comes up with vigineting from time to time but it is usually easily cropped out, the pic was resized to 800x600 and then I used focus magic to to refocus by 1 pixel, I thought no other corrections were needed so thats the result you see posted. by the way your english is quite good. ps I think APO and macro [email protected]:1 have less distortion but cost a lot more. ![]() musket, What I really wondered is if you gave the picture some extra barrel effect. I have noticed the obvious fact that some barrel dist. can make the "object" "pop out" even more, and that very small differences in barrel/pincusion/vertical adjustment can have a dramatic impact /T |

NoI didn't correct for for that, Barrel and pincushion also varies with light intensity it might be more pronunced or less depending on sun or shade as well :-) and pc monitorartifacts try looking at a shape of 300x300 pixels on your monitor on this monitor it looks like a rectangle :-)you would think that if something had the same number of pixels vertically as horizontaly it would be equal sided. check the pixel sizes on these 2 shapes :? ![]() ![]() Thanks for the comments......... ![]() |
