Hey all,
inspired by vvcarpio's thread (http://forums.steves-digicams.com/ar...hn-divine.html) I thought I share some photos I took when I was in Strasbourg (France). The Cathedral is really dominating the small isle in the city center and is an impressive view from the outside. If you visit Strasbourg, be sure to include it in your route through the city. C&C welcome - I hope you like what you see! Kind regards, Th. Last edited by thkn777; Aug 8, 2011 at 6:39 AM. Reason: added one more image |

It reminds me a bit of the Cathedral in Cologne (Germany), although the color of the stones is completely different.
Some impressions from the main hall. Btw. - I didn't correct distortions etc. as I wanted to keep as much as possible from the image. |

The altar area is truly impressive. It has kind of a mystical feeling with all the colors and the (almost) golden lighting.
