Every year they light the Parliament Buildings here in Ottawa and I had never shot them all lit up (or at all for that fact) so I finely worked up some motivation and went down and took some shots.
Please feel free to critic, edit and educate as I often don't shoot buildings so I could use some help. Thanks, John |

No body has any criticism about my photo? There has to be something I can do to make it better...

Looks good, but rather small. Can you link to a bigger version?

I like the shot as is, but just did a quick experiment with two different crops. It's always a matter of personal preference. Also included the original for comparison.

It has to be difficult to shoot this with the weather looking like it does I do like the shot but if I were to say it looks like you shot it in Prauge you might get offended so I won't say it looks Russian.......( Hummmm not sure I spelled that right, but maybe the point is made.... LOL)

I like the photo, but in Steven R's second edit. You really needed to crop your original. I haven't been to Ottawa in years and it was good to see that again.
Do you have any pictures of the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec? I'd love to see that at night. |
