Con Ed building, not Co Ed:-) Took these shots with mynew Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L at 200mm. These images are right out of the camera, no editing/resizing just cropping. I'm pretty happy with the results

Very nice shots. I just got my first monopod cause I'm getting old and shaky!! I just took a few pix of my cats, and I can see the difference. So I will try carrying it around, especially for wildlife and evening shots.

nice shots, the second one is really sharp. I usally cary a tripod with me. I have found that if I don't take it I will most definltey need it:angry:. I carry a camera backpack that has a nice spot to attach and carry it. I guess it all depends on what you are shooting and if you may need more than one shot of the same thing.
