While growing up in Jamaica, West indies I remember cookies (the British called them biscuits) came in metal containers that were decorated with pictures of famous European cities. This picture reminded me of that series of photos. Composition, clarity, colors etc. definitely arouse childhood dreams.. Thanks for sharing. Aloha. |

Paintings of the masters of the late 1800's had this very same look--a golden one. This is a fine photo sitting atop a fine tradition.
