Bridge connects Columbia NH with Lemington VT. I wanted to try out the High dynamic range blending feature in Photoimpact on a fairly dificult subject. The full size image is quite nicely detailed. Resizing for posting of course loses this, but the exposure should look OK.
brian Edit: I slipped up when I posted this, and resized to the wrong aspect ration, stretching the bridge a bit. This should be correct. |

Nice shot! I love covered bridges although they scare the heck out of me! I think I saw the "Headless Horesman" one too many times.
Did you take one from inside as well? Rose |

Thanks for the reply. I did several shots. This one is the interior from the NH side.

This one is from NH looking through to VT.
I like the covered bridges too, but I am not a fanatic about them like some people I have met, who plan their vacations around visiting the bridges, and have checklists of every one in the country. brian |

Great inside shots...........the first one especialy. To those who are covered bridge enthusiats, there is one in Fort Colonge Quebec, near the Ontario border. I think it's one of the oldest in Canada but don't quote me on that. Last time I was there it was still standing. Every spring there would be a log jam down the river because of the bridge but it held up for a few hundred years. I'll check my old albums to see if I have a shot.
Anyway...........................nice shot of the inside. Rose |

Cool picture for sure but the blending gives the bridge a added in effect. Almost like in movies when something is added that is not actually there.
