Not being much of a HDR guy I have to admit that this is the best use of HDR I have seen.
You have have done a excellent job balancing out the light and shadows and capturing the detail in everything without over doing it. I can understand why administrator likes these.

Hi, Paul. I didn't even notice the small bench. The woodworker must have some time in his hands. It's actually good to have those workers around -- plumbers, handymen, etc. -- who add some little niceties when their work is done.
Thanks a lot, lomitamike. #16) ![]() |

Speaking from a carpenters point of view, that bench is actually harder to make than one might think. It is actually craftsmanship of a well seasoned and skilled worker.

#17) Another shot of the Cragsmoor Historical Society building, this time along Cragsmoor Road. The Free Library is just to the right of this building. ![]() |

Yes it's a nice place to live. There are two New Yorks -- New York City and New York State -- with two different peoples. I'd say where I'm at -- northwest of the city -- is where New York State starts. (Which is about as far as anyone working in the city would live.)

I hear what you're saying about two New York's...
NY City has it's good points and bad but I'm not the big city type... To many people for my taste (Nice place to visit but don't want to live there... ![]() Being originally from Massachusetts I've experienced "Up State" NY, what we from MA call the part of NY state bordering western Connecticut, Massacusetts and Vermont... This "New York" I really liked... Lots of beautiful country...! ![]() Except for Buffalo... ![]() (JMHO ~ No offense to anyone FROM Baffalo OR NYC... ![]() ![]() |
