It is always nice to see older buildings kept and brought back to their former glory. Unfortunately a lot of wonderful and historic architecture in many cities has fallen to the wrecking ball. It looks like it would be a very interesting area to explore and visit. Regards |

bluenose, Thanks for viewing and the comments. Agree. Over here the middle class, generalized, live in the city and the working class in the suburbs. Those who live in Haga preferably use bicycles. Luckily there is a Bicycle Repair Man serving the district. The workshop(?) has been there for decades Torgny Last edited by Torgny; Nov 14, 2009 at 7:56 PM. |

Bob,
Bynx Thanks. Yes, and there must be some dusted off stone masters who have taught the design technique Further up north along the coast there is rock suitable for making the stones. Think you can find something similar in Ireland You might wonder why some people sit outside in the cold. On of my sons made the reflection that in Iceland people visit cafés to get warm whereas in Gothenburg many go there to freeze ![]() There are some explanations to this phenomenon but it would lead too far Torgny |
