....hi Greg
Well, these are very good. I particularly like the straight away photos, the angles are not to my like very often though some of these are ok with me. The exposure, contrast and saturation are exactly how I like so good there. I do miss your Olympus usage and posts, I am leaning to get a E3 to upgrade from the E-300. I've been spending maybe too much time at Arlington Camera these past few days. Good to see you here and Merry Christmas __________ boBBrennan boBBrennan.smugmug.com |

Hi Bob!
Yes, Arlington Camera is like the Sea Nymph...fortunately, I don't live as close as I used to! I've enjoyed getting around with this lighter weight stuff, but I keep looking back, especially at the E510 outfit. This LX2 is one fine little camera, with all the control featuresof a DSLR in a size I can carry in my pants pocket. If I re-buy into a DSLR, the E510 two-lens kitwhat I wouldbe doing, and sticking with the kit lenses. I tried an E510 outfit a few weeks ago for the first time. I still have my FL50 flash and use it on my Panasonic FZ50 and do still havemy E1 and E300 bodies....just no lenses. The E510 kit isreally light and very well built, even the lenses, especially for the price point. The E3 would be a dream camera....just heavier than I care to deal with anymore. |
