The Barbarian,
Really fascinating picture. A work of art. Especially like the visibility of all the light sources. The picture has quite a bit of fifties nostalgia to it. Europe lay in ruins and the empire was at it's peak with half of the world's wealth. This picture defends it's place in one of the US art traditions. Brilliant //T Chrome

Ditto to all the other comments, Barbarian. I like everything about it: lighting, colors, reflections, angle....
My wife likes it, too, and thinks this would make a great jigsaw puzzle. Mike |

Thanks, everyone. I loved the look of that place. The funny thing is, I didn't have my camera at the time. I was struck by the retro look and used my Samsung Focus telephone to get an image.

I'm speechless. That's one of the most beautiful, inviting images I've seen in a long, long time. It makes me want to go there and never leave.
