Hiya, Dave. Many kind thanks, indeed, for your comments about digital vs. optical zoom. I did try a number of exposure compensation, but the snow was a little to bright... guess I was demanding to much from the camera.

You're doing some incredible work with a telephone camera Ned! I am amazed at the IQ...and you compositions are top notch!!

Thank you, Jehan! I studied photography in the university... back in 70's. Film was only thing around. I need to get up to speed really fast with software, since I used to do a lot of work in the darkroom... and as for composition, many kind thanks for your comment. I had a great professor who helped me understand composition for what it really is... He wanted good pictures, so I found that taking picture takes a lot of time and effort... and if you can add enjoyment to that, you have a really great hobby with rewarding experiences. So, I owe to my professor. Thanks.
