The fence and roof patterns are nice. Good job.

I went back the next day with a roll of colour film. (raced the sun home, actually.) I managed to catch the last rays before the sun disappeared for a week.

I like the color! I'm not liking the big frame.

Hey Tom!
Those are both really cool shots, I probably prefer the b&w, but it's a close call. John. |

I prefer the b/w, although the color one is pretty nice too.
In the color photo I love the sunlight reflecting off the fence and the houses. I'm a little distracted, though, by the reddish coloring of the tree. Still a nice photo, I just prefer the b/w. I also noticed, in the color one more than the b/w (though it's there too) a powerline slanting down in the right third of the frame. Do you think it would be a good idea to clone this out? I don't notice it as much in the b/w, but in the color photo the grayish-blue stands out a bit too much for my taste. ' Having said all that, I really like these photos and would be proud if I had taken them. |
