After more than 40 years the 2008 baseball season will be the last for Shea Stadium. I thought I'd better get a decent shot of this historic venue befor it's gone forever.

The new stadium is under construction. It will be called "Citifield" after, what else, a bank.

The construction on the new stadium looks like it's going to be very nicely done. Do hate to see the old taken down but things do have to move forward. The old stadium looks a like the Angel stadium here in Orange County, CA, it's about the same age too, wonder how long it's going to last?
