I took a one night camping trip yesterday and camped at Steamboat Rock, which is about 15 minutes from the Grand Coulee Dam. Below are some pictures that I took of the beast.
Looking towards the dam from the Lake Roosevelt side: ![]() A statue of President Roosevelt overlooking the lake created by the Grand Coulee Dam in his name: ![]() One of the many viewpoints: ![]() A panoramic shot consisting of three pictures stitched together: ![]() And the nightly laser light show begins as water is released down the face of the dam: ![]() Probably the best shot I had of the light show; we couldn't stay at river level because the mosquitos were eating us alive: ![]() |

All nice pics, but the pano and #6 stand out. The last one almost looks like you did some PhotoShop work on it. That must've been some light show.
![]() I found the foreground in pic #2 a bit dark, so I selectively adjusted the levels to bring out some shadow detail . I also cropped it a little because I thought the foreground slightly distracting. I hope you don't mind my playing around with your pic. Let me know what you think. |

This is what I did with pic #3. Again, I hope you don't mind me fooling around with your pix a little.
