Abandoned house on the Staffordshire Moorlands, it was full of sheep caring for their new born lambs so I had to be careful not to scare them.

Shaun, really nice shot. The B&W tones and the sparse landscape surrounding provide an air of desolation that is compelling. Any idea how old the house is? The fact that it is apparently fairly large and two-story makes you think it might someday have been a house of note in the area.

Thanks all. I'm not sure how old the house is. It would originally have been a shepherds house as the surrounding hills and moors are only good for sheep. This shot shows the view from the front towards "Hen Cloud". This is a very unspoiled area of Staffordshire on the edge of the Peak District.
