For years I've driven pass this Indianhouse/temple while going to and coming back from the Lighthouse at Point Reyes. I always wanted to take a picture of it but never had the opportunity. Well, last weekend I went up there andfinally decided to stop, disrespect the sign that read "NO TRASPASSING...PRIVATE PROPERTY"tosnap this shot real quick. The house sits right above the water.

I do appreciate your spirit of venture, Tullio.
Such a cozy Indian (temple and private ownership??) indeed, revealing serenity. Since transpassing is restricted, I felt like playing around it :-) I hope you don't mind... |

Nice capture. I only wish that red gas container wasn't there.

Thanks, Rey. Yes, I agree. Unfortunately, I'd have to crop too much of the front in order to get rid of it.

I think this shot could use just a tad more contrast

Thanks, Matthew. One of the problems I find adjusting image contrast is related to monitors. My monitor at home is an IBM and it produces excellent contrast. Here at work, it's a ViewSonic, which issupposedlynot bad but I must saythe contrast is not nearly as good. Since all my postings aresubmitted fromhome, I tend to go easy on the contrast. I agree with you, the version that Bahadir posted hasbetter contrast (viewing at work), but too much when I look at it at home. Also, my home monitor has been properly calibrated while at work it hasn't.
