I appreciate all the comments. I did not think much of diners until now. They’re more than just “a place where people dine” -- they're an American icon. I went to the diner across the street from where I used to work in Hell’s Kitchen but it’s been torn down. A sign however points to their new location just on the opposite side of the block. #5) Old location. ![]() #6) New location. ![]() #7) Then I found another diner nearby on the corner 8th and 34th Street of The New Yorker Hotel. Madison Square Garden (the round building) is reflected off the diner’s glass on the right. ![]() |

I really like the Deco look. There is an old train station here in Buffalo that is Art Deco, Ill have to see if I get in there.
