Mosques in Khartoum

Khartoum is really not very inspiring for architecture, but every so often something comes up. I took this picture of a minaret in Omdurman.

This is my favourite mosque in Khartoum, Farouk's msoque.

An I like this pic, possibly because it is a little minimalist.

Any comments would most welcome. I would be particularly happy to hear how people make the choice between B&W and colour. I would like to take more pictures in the industrial area but can't decide which way to go.

Thanks
Tom

The detail in the third shot is well done and it is my favorite.
I would shoot in color and then use photoshop or similar to convert to BW and compare to see which you prefer. Doesn't make sesne to shoot in BW since you reduce your options.
