Seeing a new major church being built in the UK nowadays is a rare sight, but in Greece they continue to build new churches all over the country, big and small. This is a night time shot of the large Greek Orthodox Church currently under construction in Stoupa, The Peloponnese (Mani Peninsular) Greece. It should be completed some time in 2006 and will have a large central dome, and two towers each with a dome and cross at the top.

I like the lighting it looks as if it were just the face of the building.

That's nicely observed, could almost have been taken anytime in the last couple thousand years!
