Sorry about the other thread. Thought I caught it in time.
![]() Well, as you can see I went on a little walk around my city's downtown. This church is where President Harry S. Truman met his wife. His boyhood home is just a short walk from where I took this pic. Again with the dust particles. I'm going to get it cleaned this week. |

Beautiful brick architecture there with eye pleasing colours and fine detail. This church definately deserve some further shots, IMO!

I agree with bahadir...definitely worth some more captures!!! Especially those beautiful round windows & the skilled masonry work! I'm sorry but I think more of these churches should be registered landmarks. It just seems like these are the only buildings that built to last more than 50 years anymore in this country. It's just sad that other countries can boast of sites being a few hundred years (or much more!) old & here if a structure is more than 30 years old, it is condemned & destroyed for some cookie-cutter building that isn't worth a fraction of the cost to build! OK, I'll get off my soapbox...thanks for letting me vent...LOL!
Let's see some more! Ron |

Thanks guys! :-)
wadue - This church is a city landmark and I know that it will stand for quite some time. I think it's because of the relation to President Harry S. Truman. Edit - I forgot to add the picture. :? |
