D100 24-85 at 24mm. 30 sec exposure ISO200
I wanted to light the room so I let the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial almost completly burn out. Thats them out the window to the right in the distance. Taken from Arlington VA across the Potomac from DC. When I have more time I think Ill shoot it again and do 2 exposures that I can merge in Photoshop. This look a lot lighter and flatter in the browser then it did in PS but here it is anyway. ![]() |

Robert, very nice interpretation. Detail is great. Love the soft colors.

Intersting.
You can try to use Distort\Spehrize (-5 for this image dimension) to correct lens deformation effects which are noticeable on the ceiling lines and on the mirror on the right. (and ad a little ccw rotation ). BTW, what's the area at the bottom ? A glass covered furniture ? |

brtsergio thanks for the input. I didnt even notice that till I read your post.
So this is distortion caused by the wide angle lens??? The camera is sitting on a marble counter top. That is the reflection. |
