Default perfect for haunting..

a bit out of my normal realm, but i couldn't pass this up. i was in Port Townsend to pick up some work from a gallery there following an exhibition. while i was there, i stopped to photograph this old house... couldn't help thinking it'd be perfect for that black & white Halloween shot with the full moon, some stormy clouds, and a couple of scraggly dead trees... 5D, 24-135, 1/160 @ f/8.

I agree about a "Halloween" shot. This reminded me of a similar, Adams-family type building that is now a funeral home nearby. I was looking for a haunted-looking building to shoot while the Irene clouds were still around. I will remember next time. Thanks for sharing. Great shot and pp.

I don't know where Port Townsend is, but it reminds me of the beautiful houses in Maine - complete with widows walk. Sometimes it is good to shoot scenes that are a departure from the norm.
