I like your feedback, because I try to use your suggestions. So please don't simply state my photo stinks, dosen't work for you...etc. or if you like it ;if you state it stinks, sucks, etc... and then tell me how to improve on it. If you like it tell me why. Thanks

Well since you ask, it certainly doesn't stink or suck
I probably would have prefered it if the window on the left wasn't chopped in two, but leaving it out entirely would have led to other framing problems I suspect, sometime you just can't win I guess :O Other than that, I know a lot of very well regarded photographers take pictures just like this, but I've never really "got" them. So I'm probably not a good person to comment! Regards, John. |

Matt,
Congratulations on your marriage. I've been looking at your pictures with some interest since your about (guess) the same age as my son. He isn't into photoghaphy... Yet... As for this picture. I surprised you didn't see the obvious here which is the go to B&W. Yes the window on the left should go but I wouldn't crop it out, just clone or cut and paste it away. Here is my (Quick and dirty) take on this great picture. Edge fading or darkening might work too. PS: Texas is my second favorite state. I still love Ohio dale |
