Had a wander round a snowy St Annes Church in Turton not far from us this morning.

Rob, You can be very proud of these photos from St Annes. I could comment on each and everyone. A really great series Straight verticals, no distorsions don't come often these modern days ("knirk, knirk" - oh that d..... rockingchair needs some lubricant) To me you obviously are fascinated by the gothic / celtic / viking age form worlds. I especially like the 1st one, with the blue sky and church steeple in the background.

Thanks for the comments. I do seem to be developing a 'Gothic' thing yeah.
My only defence is that its very peaceful wandering around those places and you can be pretty certain the subject isnt going to move or run away.... |

Very nice headstones, first and last stone beeing my favorite, because of the intricate and interesting masonry in its details. Well cought light and shadows in all.
Thank you for sharing! |
