Hello there,
I'm in Frankfurt for this and next week, and I take the opportunity to take some pictures. Here are today's shots. I'm sorry, but I don't have the time to tell you some more things about the buildings right now, but if there are any questions, I'll take the time the next days: http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm1.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm2.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm3.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm4.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm5.jpg I thought this one might be funny. "Gaylord" reminded me of "Gaylord Focker", if anybody knowes who I mean. ;) http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm6.jpg |
Gaylord Focker?? Gaylodr Focker. You mean your name is Gay Focker? Yeah, I know Meet the Parents. HAHA. Just how many movies is Ben Stiller do per year? I like that second picture alot.
|
I like the second one and the wonderful colors and details of the Haupt Bahnhof.
|
All good Kex, including the Greg Focker one. :lol: The third one caught my eye though. You've made an otherwise boring scene, interesting.

Thank you all very much for the nice comments!
Here are some more photos I've taken today. The skyline shots were made through a window, but I think they're still good. :) http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm01.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm02.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm03.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm04.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm05.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/ffm06.jpg |
That moody sky really shows off those buildings.
|
yep. I agree ferny. and thanks!
Here are two more photos, panoramas, but taken under bad conditions and through windows, so I had to clone some reflections out and they're noisy, too. But I'll post them nevertheless: http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/panoffm.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/panoffm2.jpg |

Thank you Klaus!
Here are some more pics from today, much better ones than the last I posted IMO, because the weather was wonderful! http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/fontaine.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/images/fontaine2.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/i...eilgallery.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/i...kyscraper1.jpg http://www.digitalpleasure.net/dev/i...kyscraper2.jpg |
Hi there;
Very nice work! There's a lot here to comment on, so I'll just pick a couple of shots. I really like the third shot, with the combination of colour and b/w. It really draws attention to the signpost. I copied this shot into Elements and converted it all to b/w, and the sign tends to get lost in the detail. Good job. The Panos are good. The clouds really give a mood to the shots. I like the fountain shots as well. Do you recall your settings for these shots? Keep up the good work. Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada |
