This is a capture of St-Joseph's church, located on Kamloops Indian Band land..in Kamloops, B.C. Canada. The church was originally built in 1870 and is a KIB historic site. The word Kamloops is a translation of a First Nations word meaning "where the rivers meet"...as both the North and South Thompson Rivers meet at Kamloops.

Great shot and thanks for the history lesson! I am always amazed at how well these old buildings stand the test of time. It seems to be very desolate there but the clouds realy give the picture alot of atmosphere.
Thanks for sharing, Rose |
