Here is a statue outside Assumption Church in Windsor. As you can see the sky is about as flat as a sky can be. I wonder if I shouls replace the sky with something a little more interesting, like clouds (or tornados). Still, I like the angle between the statue, the tree and the spires.

I just found this photo. It's a great shot the way it is. I think if you mess around with the sky on this one, you will take away from the statue of Mary. As it is, she stands out very dramatically rather than being just a figure in the photo.

Fab shot...I love the composition!
Myself - I'd crop out just a small fraction at the bottom to completely remove the statue base. But looks just fine as is. Nice work. S.K. |
