I paid $500 for mine here in the Dallas area. Maybe you should just hop on down here to the US and get your's. Here's another shot. I was trying to see how it did with distortion. |

That last shot looks great. It likes the lens does very well with distortion, or lack thereof.

I know the feeling. So far its been quite addicting. I find myself driving around looking for something to shoot it with. Here is Ameriquest Field (home of the Texas Rangers) in Arlington, Texas. It is probably 2 blocks long on each side. Previously, with my widest lens (17-40L) I haven't been able to get far enough back to get the full stadium. This one taken from across the street. |

Two blocks from Ameriquest Field is Six Flags Over Texas. Here's a shot of one of the roller coasters.

In the other direction, about 4 blocks from Ameriquest Field, this is all that's left of more than 100 homes and other structures. They were just demolished to make way for a new NFL football stadium for the Dallas Cowboys.

Hi Walter, this photos a superb. No doubt the Tokina lens is of great quality but I think a lot alsohas to do withwho isbehind the lens. Great compositions, angles, lighting, the works!

The Ameriquest Field photo is great. I shot a couple of not-so-great photos of it last summer. The wide angle lens gives a much better field of view than I was able to achieve.
What do you think of a more panoramic presentation that gets rid of much of the empty roadway? Hope you don't mind that I gave it a try: |
