What a good example of images you've posted! I love the lens already! It's definitely on my photography wish list. I just may have to make plans to go to the US this summer but then again, the lens is listed at bhphoto.com for $500 I believe and the dollar exchange isn't all that bad...so it's just a matter of making up my mind...

I don't mind at all. Yes, it does look much better cropped as a panorama. Living close by, I had been trying to find a good angle to shoot the stadium from with my 17-40 lens, but too many cables, trees, traffic signals, etc. The Tokina solved the problem nicely.
