Summer residens of the late William Gibson, scotsman and industrialist at Jonsered. The building id now owned by the university
And in the lower right corner a permanent "tenement cottage" of a local craftsman Last edited by Torgny; Jan 30, 2010 at 8:59 PM. |

Thanks, it's a constant struggle with angels, sorry, angles. This is a really big house for being built as a summer residence, so there must (?) be at least some slight divergence. Wide angle lenses have to be used with care, I think //T Last edited by Torgny; Feb 1, 2010 at 1:32 AM. |

Yes very nice composition. The contrast between the two houses is striking -- one lavish and one spartan.

I like both pictures of that residence, Torgny. You did a good job, framing it with interesting angles and perspective!

Ordo,
vvcarpio, Walter Thanks for viewing and the comments. One of all my sons found a book on architectural photography at the University Library. I'll browse it, for sure. Central are of course the verticals Using the eyes is as always a good start when you take on architectural objects. I think it's ok to use software to correct excessive wid angle distorsions. The little cottage came as a bonus, didn't notice it until I scrutinized the picture files on the PC A small contribution to the rich and poor theme Torgny Last edited by Torgny; Feb 2, 2010 at 6:06 AM. |
