The architect who designed this structure seems to have included the Knights Templar cross in his creation of the entry arch. I believe that the building was constructed in the early 1900's.

I wonder if this was originally constructed as a state facility given a 1900's construction date. Apparently one of the features of Hot Springs, SD is some 35 buildings constructed of sandstone. Nice shot.
