Now we go over to the castle. Unfortunately the weather prohibited me from getting a HDR of the whole thing. Instead I got only some minor details.
![]() Translation : "King Carl XI Let rebuild the castles northern side 1690-1697 Fire roamed the castle May 7th 1697 The rebuilding continued till 1712, was re-issued 1728 The castle is stated as a home for royalty December 7th 1754" More to come... |

Thanks Ordo. It was interesting to know why the collars are on the horses. Also the horse here is the one next to the left side horse in the pic from the site.

my missus has the same ![]() ![]() now to the hdr the first shot of the horse is ok but i personally if possible would have shot it further back to let the buildings draw you into the subject but i do like it ..... the golden statues really benifit from the hdr in my opinion..... and the building (#3 Panorama HDR of the building) is great and also the lion did you just try the one program to convert these?

![]() No, I tried two different. Photomatix and Dynamic-Photo HDR. They had a teeny tiny bits of difference but I ended up liking the Photomatix version better. |

Last one. Hope you've enjoyed my trip in HDR.
Strömsborg was first used as an entertainment hall in the 1740s. The current building depicted here was built 1897 which served as a restaurant among other things. The restaurant burnt down in 1953. Nowadays it's used as an office. Tone Compressor in Photomatix Pro ![]() Dynamic Photo HDR ![]() And lastly... DO NOT HESITATE TO COMMENT! ![]() any critisism is constructive in my eyes. bad as good. bad comments doesn't necessarily mean BAD. I may learn something for a change ![]() Last edited by Acapulco; Dec 2, 2009 at 2:05 PM. |
