I grew up in Iowa, and in HS and college spent my summers working on track gangs for that railroad. Almost all the old depots are gone now, except for the occasional one preserved as an historical curiosity.

Too bad. I loved traveling by train.

I share you fondness for old depots and trains! I am glad someone preserved this building! I remember many times riding my bike to the station in our town when I heard a train pull in.
