Hope you both like, thanks for the comments in advance. The original church was distroyed by fire in the 6th century, then re- built on the same site in the 12th century.

Hi Alex, i see what you mean about the blue window it is unexpected and a little distracting, for me i would boost the contrast just a touch more to get the gravestone in the foreground very dark to create more moody feel, thanks for showing i really like it. I took this but its a bit soft.

Great picture Alex! Love the composition, I love the point of view-low and looking up-and love the subject. I agree with Bill a little bit more darkness will cast the right mood for such a provacative and somber subject.

Dear Alex, that's so kind of you taking our wish into account! Bigger image has made more sense, indeed! Btw, though I liked the blueon the window, here, keeping the whole image in absolute B&W works best IMO..

Great compositionand great B&W workfitting your knowledge and taste
