The image of the Statue of Liberty [ http://www.statueofliberty.org/default_sol.htm] is sufficiently distinctive and ubiquitous that I don't thinkBynx's additional detail adds anything, so I prefer the silhouette in drewaz's shot, but I like the sky in Bynx's.

Thanks for commenting Tcav .... the first picture is representative of the view I had that day ..... pretty dreary. I liked the image that even in bad weather someone was out welcoming people to our country.

Maybe not at the first sight, but the more you look at the image the more you get tho admire it Oh, especially the shadow of the statue stretching towards the observer!! Thus, while appreciating Bynx's edit, I agree with TCav on his preferencefor the silhouette look...

Still, I'd suggest a little cropping from the top where the diagonal opening in the sky meets the frame on the right hand side.
