Been wanting to take photos withmy 300mm so I took this :GDidn't have my tripod or monopod with me, didn't want to carry it to work.Yeah, I'm lazy!:G I had the camera set to ISO 400 and f/8 which gave me a shutter speed of 1/2000s. It was fast enough for my shaky hands to take the shot:-) I probably could of gotten away with ISO 200 but I wanted to make sure I gotit :-)

Thanks for looking!

Chris

Very tasteful frame, Chris...and looks sharp indeed, as you desired!

Btw, I believe you could not find a higher position to overcome some artifacts ( the directional wi-fi or whatsoever antennas)! Some cropping could be OK, preserving the essentials starting from the bottom of the balustrade level of the builging across,or you may leave them as it is, not a big issue really!

Again, well done

Thanks Bahadir! I was thinking exactly the same thing! :-) I might give it try tonight and clone out those nasty modern antennas  One thing, wish I centered the middle building

BTW I never realized how close you can get with 300mm :-) The red arrow is where I was standingand the green arrow isthe building with the gold statue.

Talking about watches,on which I happen to know that you have a collection, they make a great subject matter forthe close-ups
